I went on a road trip and talked with a few former service members about the skillbridge program. A program folks can utilize on their way out of the service to either learn a new skill set or to utilize as job placement. Two people I spoke with utilize the program to direct hire folks into their company Veteran Built Homes https://www.vetbuilthomes.com/ and one that used it to learn a completely different skill set he learned utilizing the skillbridge program.
